The Secretary, the Revd Alan Strange writes "Our speaker is Dr Richard Turnbull, principal of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, and until recently chair of the Church of England Evangelical Council. He will be addressing the theme "How useful is the term 'evangelical' in today's church?". In the light of developments in our own church and the wider communion, it should prove a most relevant and stimulating day. It will start promptly at 10.15 (come at 10.00 if you'd like coffee first), and run until 15.00. As well as three talks from Richard, there will also be time for questions and discussion. Do please bring your own lunch."
