Will you make July a month of prayer for the Church of England?
Throughout July, we are inviting churches, clergy and individuals across the country to unite in daily prayer for the Church of England and its witness.
Whether you are praying individually or as your church or small groups, we invite you to join thousands of others in seeking God guidance for the future of the Church of England and for the spread of the gospel in our generation.
Join us for PRAYjuly
PRAYjuly will begin with two national online prayer meetings at 12.30 on 1 July and at 18.30 on 2 July.
Each day, CEEC will publish a Bible verse and a prayer pointer, encouraging Christians to pray for the life, witness and future of the Church of England.
On 12 July, we are encouraging churches to use the prayer pointers we will provide in their Sunday service intercessions.

A prayer for July
Lord Jesus Christ,
Head of the universal church,
without whom nothing is true and nothing is holy,
we pray for Your blessing and protection on our life and witness as the Church of England.
Direct and fill all who lead with Your Holy Spirit,
sustain and equip the local church with the gifts of Your Spirit
and enable us all to reveal in our way of life the fruit of Your Spirit,
that we may love what You command
and desire what You promise,
to the glory of God the Father, Amen
